This beautiful white nautilus shell bowl was hand crafted by McGlashen Pottery in Brightwater, New Zealand.
Inspired by the golden rule spirals of the Nautilus Shell, this bowl displays a splash of colour on the inside – or flip it over and let the gorgeous brown terracotta slip contrast with the stunning white finish of the clay, a great centrepiece when not being used to serve food or display other treasures as a bowl.

McGlashen Pottery was founded by Master Potter Royce McGlashen and his wife Trudi in 1980. Royce is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (Geneva) and in 1989 received an M.B.E. for his services to pottery in New Zealand.
In early 2025, Coral Denize and Josh Jones took over McGlashen Pottery upon Royces retirement. His original designs remain at the heart of the pottery, keeping his legacy alive today.
